TRANSITION RESOURCE CENTERS (TRC)
IMPORTANT FYI: The Pasadena Transitional Resource Center (TRC) located at Casey Family Program is no longer available.
The Youth Development Services Division has Transition Resource Centers (TRC) that are dedicated to providing ILP services to ILP eligible youth, ages 16-20, however the primary focus is to service youth 18-20 who have exited from foster/probation care in Los Angeles County.
There are eight TRC's in Los Angeles County providing services including but not limited to:
- Independent living resources information and referral
- Special events and a variety of other services
- Emergency, transitional and permanent housing referrals
- Mental Health-Transitional Age Youth referrals
- Transportation funds
- Educational assistance
- Employment resources
- More services
NOTE: If you are already receiving Social Security Income or Welfare payments, you may still qualify for some services.
