You can get up to $2,000 per year for your own car insurance in order to meet the legal minimum California requirement (liability and uninsured motorists amounts of $15,000/person and $30,000/accident and $5,000 for damages)!

who are enrolled in college are eligible
to receive up to $5000 in Chafe
Education/Training Vouchers by
submitting an application to the
California Student Aid Commission.
These funds may be used for computers or
other education-related expenses.

You may be able to be reimbursed for computer training classes and workshops with approval from your social worker or coordinator. There is also free computer training offered at
some of the Transition Resource Centers.

If you are 18 and emancipated you can take pre-paid driving lessons. If you are a 16-17 year old pre-emancipated youth, you can get reimbursed for your driving lessons, up to $350 per person. Drivers wanted!

Take a Financial Aid Workshop and complete the application that will get you student loans and money in scholarships for college and other professional/vocational training. There is money available to assist to you to get the education you want. Take advantage of this!
